Artemisia gel (hydrogel) protects and cares for the skin. It has a supportive effect on skin irritations and problem skin.
How is the Artemisia gel produced?
Our Artemisia plants are organically grown. They are grown in Switzerland, harvested and processed by hand. We only use the dried leaf tips and no stems or woody parts, which results in high quality. What does Artemisia Gel contain?
The Artemisia extract is mixed with an aloe vera gel from the inner leaf (inner leaf gel). This is quickly absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin[loggedin] and is free from aloin, which is found in the outer leaf and is toxic [/loggedin].
We produce the aloe vera gel ourselves from organic aloe vera powder, which means we are independent of suppliers and their formulations (thickeners, preservatives, etc.).
Finally, high-quality frankincense oil (Boswellia carterii oil) is added. This gives the gel a pleasant odour[loggedin]and supports the regeneration of the skin [/loggedin]. The Artemisia Gel contains no parabens.
Why a gel?
The oil-free, water-based gel (= hydrogel) forms a thin layer on the skin. The individual ingredients are enclosed in it.[loggedin]This means they are available for longer, i.e. the moisturising effect is stronger and lasts longer.[/loggedin] The gel is easy to apply and spreads evenly over the skin. It does not become sticky after drying and is not tight on the skin.
How natural is Artemisia Gel?
The Artemisia Gel is 100% natural cosmetics. All ingredients are from nature or are found in nature. We use benzoic acid and sorbic acid (0.3% sodium benzoate / 0.15% potassium sorbate) as preservatives. Both are officially authorised substances in natural cosmetics.

Application
