No old coffee! Gently produced extract from green coffee beans, caffeine-free and rich in chlorogenic acid.
Green coffee extract in capsules
Coffea Vida contains an extract from green coffee beans (green coffee = coffee before roasting)[loggedin] with a remarkable content of chlorogenic acid. This substance is largely lost during roasting. Chlorogenic acid is also found in some other plants, but the proportion is only around 0.5 to 2 %. A proportion of 4-14 % can be measured in green coffee beans[/loggedin].
What else does Coffea Vida contain?
Coffea Vida contains a carefully produced extract of pure green coffee beans as well as brown algae powder and L-carnitine. Coffea Vida contains no caffeine, cafestol or kahweol.
Some people are enthusiastic about the combination of green coffee, brown algae powder and L-carnitine. They use Coffea Vida during sport or to accompany a visit to the fitness center.

What is Coffea Vida used for?
The health claims that are possible for a food supplement such as Coffea Vida and its ingredients are precisely defined by law. We are not allowed to go beyond this, even if it should have scientifically confirmed physiological properties. Make up your own mind with an internet search.
What is chlorogenic acid?
Chlorogenic acid is a plant substance that is found in high concentrations in green coffee extract. One capsule of Coffea Vida contains approx. 100 mg chlorogenic acid.
What is L-carnitine?
L-carnitine is found almost exclusively in meat (especially lamb). It is therefore particularly important for athletes, vegetarians and people who eat little meat. [loggedin]Although our body can produce carnitine itself from the two amino acids methionine and lysine, this amount may not be sufficient during physical exertion, sport or an unbalanced diet.[/loggedin]
Difference between biological and chemical carnitine
L-carnitine can be produced chemically or biologically. The chemical process is not specific and produces a mixture of D- and L-carnitine. The two molecules differ only in their spatial arrangement. However, while L-carnitine is the natural variant, D-carnitine is found neither in the body nor in food. It has to be laboriously removed from the carnitine mixture. This is never 100% successful, and residual amounts of D-carnitine can always be detected in chemically produced carnitine.
Biological carnitine in Coffea Vida
The L-carnitine we use in Coffea Vida is obtained organically instead. The source material is not meat, but a special arable soil bacterium.[loggedin]This mimics human carnitine synthesis and uses the same enzymes as the human liver. [/loggedin]The result is 100% pure L-carnitine. In addition, neither genetic engineering nor raw materials of animal origin are used in this process.
